about

"Brâme des cerfs", "Distant call of deers"
DUO shakuhachi, nohkan-shinobue with Kohei NISHIKAWA
traditionnel honkyoku

This is an emblematic piece of the repertoire of the shakuhachi and a secular subject of the Japanese poetry: the deer. The nohkan and the shakuhachi are responding alternately to each other until dovetaile, then it is the turn of the shinobue to join the shakuhachi in unission, just like the described picture.
